Principal
What an exciting year lies ahead! I am excited to begin my time as Swansfield’s principal and look forward to  sharing experiences with the school community!
This is my 27th year as an educator, with 22 of those spent in Howard County! I have worked with staffs at St. John’s Lane, Bollman Bridge, Hollifield Station, and Longfellow, where I most recently served as the Assistant Principal. I have worked as a classroom teacher and team leader in primary and intermediate grades, as a G/T Resource Teacher, and as an administrator over the course of my career. I also spent time serving the county as the Elementary Science/Mathematics Resource Teacher in between these experiences.
I am honored to join such a talented staff at Swansfield with a wide range of experiences and expertise, not to mention their enthusiasm! I am also thrilled to come to Swansfield and join such a dynamic school community! This is truly a place of learning and sharing among students, staff, and families!
