Jump Rope for Heart

We have kicked off our annual Jump Rope for Heart fundraiser. Your student is becoming a heart hero by taking care of their own heart, spreading the message of the American Heart Association and raising funds for lifesaving research. Have your student jump online at http://www2.heart.org/site/TR?company_id=57220&fr_id=3192&pg=company to take one of our three health challenges, send emails and ask for donations. Any student who goes online and takes the challenge gets a glow in the dark wristband. Any student who receives a donation will be recognized and receive a prize.

This year's event will continue through February 2. Any donations collected locally and NOT online should be turned in by that date.

Thank you for supporting our school and the American Heart Association!

New Family Resource

ReadyRosie is an early education tool developed to support families with children from birth through 3rd grade. Parents can sign up online and choose to receive short, informative videos that can help them encourage their children to learn. These videos can be accessed in English or Spanish and can be sent to a cell phone or email. To sign up use this link https://www.readyrosie.com/families/#sign-up-today

Once logged in, you can access information according to the child's age and the location where you will be doing an activity, such as the grocery store, restaurant, etc. This resource was launched a few months ago. Check it out!

Resources on how to access Family File may be found online. Parents who have forgotten their login credentials may click the "Forgot Password" link on the sign in page.

Volunteers/Chaperones Must Complete Training

All volunteers and field trip chaperones in HCPSS schools must complete the online training course prior to volunteering (see link below), print a completion certificate and return it to the front office. If you are unable to access online a printed version is available at school.
