Dear Swansfield Families,
Parent teacher conferences will be held in person on Monday, November 23rd. Teachers will hold all conferences in person and parents may only attend their scheduled conferences in person. Conferences will be held virtually only on Tuesday, November 24th and Wednesday, November 25th. During this conference window you will be meeting with your child’s Language Arts Teacher. These conferences offer an excellent opportunity to discuss student progress, learn about their school day and address any questions you may have.
Beginning Friday, November 6th at 8:00 am, you can log into HCPSS Connect to view and select from the time slots provided by the teacher on the days identified above. If you do not have access to HCPSS Connect, please call the school for assistance at 410-313-6907. You will have access through Thursday, November 19th at 4:00 pm to schedule your child’s conference. Attached are directions for families to reference.
Once you schedule your conference, if you scheduled a virtual conference, the code will be sent to your email. Your child’s language arts teacher will be sending out specifics about this.
Once you enter the google link, you will be put in a “holding space” until the teacher admits you. Many conferences will be back-to-back, please only log on one minute before your designated time. If you are having technology challenges, send an email to your child’s teacher or reach out to the front office, 410-313-6907.
Each Related Arts teacher will have a limited number of conference times available if you have a specific concern regarding your child’s progress. In addition, each related arts teacher will provide open office hours if you have any general questions or concerns about their specific instructional area.
Special Note for Third Grade students that have Ms. Diventi for math.
Students in third grade that have Ms. Diventi will be meeting with her during this first conference period. Please make sure you sign up for a Language Arts conference and a math conference. This is only for students that have Ms. Diventi for math. If you have any questions please call the front office.

- November 19: Scheduling is closed for parents/guardians at 4:00 pm
- November 23: In-Person Conferences
- November 24-25: Virtual Conferences
