Good Afternoon Swansfield,
It’s hard to believe that we are down to our last week of the school year. Our students and staff have a lot to be proud of from the 23-24 school year. I want to congratulate our 5th grade team on a successful Simulated Congressional Hearing this week. The students were amazing! Thank you to our 5th grade teachers for preparing students for their testimonies.
We have a few more events to look forward to as we close out the school year. Tonight, our PTA will be hosting an End of the School Year Bash and Book Swap. The event will be here at SES from 6:00 - 8:00pm. In addition, we have our 5th grade promotion ceremony at River Hill HS on Monday, June 10th at 6:30pm. We look forward to celebrating our 5th graders. On Tuesday, June 11th our 5th graders will spend the day at Patapsco Valley State Park for their class celebration.
Remember, Wednesday - Friday of next week schools will close 3 hours early. Wishing you and relaxing and restful weekend.
