Springtime has bloomed and at Swansfield this means the start of several annual traditions. Tonight, April 17th, from 6:30-8pm, join us in the Swansfield Cafeteria for Family Culture Night. This event showcases the many beautiful cultures amongst our community! Come learn, eat, and build connections!
Next Saturday, April 25th, we will come together for another spring highlight, the 3rd annual Fun Run! Warm-ups will begin at 9am on the Swanfield Blacktop. The Fun Run is held in partnership with the SES staff and PTA and helps to raise funds for recess and playground equipment. Registration is only $5 and covers the run/walk, as well as many after race activities and food. Use the link below to register and/or sign up to volunteer!

Swansfield Fun Run: April 25th
Sign up for the 3rd Annual Swansfield Fun Run on Saturday, April 25 at SES, beginning at 9 a.m. Join us to run or walk this year's course in order to see which grade will complete the most laps! Adults are encouraged to participate too! Stay after the run for playground games, snacks, DJ music, and more!

Science Fair
The Swansfield Science Fair will be held during our annual Evening with the Stars on Thursday, May 28, 2026, from 5:30-6:30 PM. Since the talent show will be in the cafeteria, look for our science displays lining the hallways!
This year's science fair includes the opportunity for students to present their projects on a poster board (provided by the PTA for students that sign up by April 24th). Projects will be judged during the fair with awards and prizes for all participating students.

The Green Beanz
The Green Beanz (Swansfield‘s environmental team) are looking for volunteers to help with our NexTrex challenge! We are collecting plastic film to be recycled and made into different building materials such as benches, deck boards, and furniture. We’re hoping to collect 1000 pounds as we have done in the past two years. We need volunteers to pick up the plastic in the vestibule at the front of the school on Thursdays and bring it to Giant. The SES PTA strives to build community. One way to help us stay connected is through our community directory. Please fill out this Google form with information about your child and family. The information from this form will be shared with any families who choose to participate. Please complete one form per child.
