Quarter 1 Awards Ceremony

Congratulations to all of our 3rd, 4th and 5th grade swans who earned an award during our 1st quarter awards ceremony.  We enjoyed celebrating our students for their academic accomplishments, their contributions to the classroom community and their dedication to learning.  We are looking forward to celebrating our first and second grade students next week!

Staff Success Factor Royalty

As you know, at Swansfield we have 6 Success Factors: Kindness, Self-Control, Perseverance, Empathy, Accountability, and Hope. On Success Factor Celebration days, a student from each class is voted to be Success Factor Royalty. We would like to include our awesome staff in this process and crown them as Success Factor Royalty as well! We would love for students' voices to be heard in this process. We are asking that students cast their votes for staff members who they think exhibit our Success Factors. Please assist your student with voting for staff to be recognized during our next Success Factor Celebration- Perseverance Day. Staff and student Perseverance Royalty winners will be celebrated on Perseverance Day- Friday, January 28th. Please try to get your votes in by January 21st!

School Day Conversation Starters

Asking your child about his/her day shows that you care about them and about school. Here’s a few to get you started…

  • Tell me about something you learned today.
  • Tell me about a problem you solved today.
  • Tell me about the best part of your day.
  • What did you do in art/math/music/PE/technology today?
  • What were your friends/classmates talking about today?
