Swansfield News 4.5.24

Good Afternoon Swansfield,

I hope this communication finds you well. I wanted to take a moment to share some updates and reminders as we approach the end of the third quarter.

Firstly, I'm delighted to report that our first week back to school after spring break was a great success. The students returned with energy and enthusiasm, quickly settling back into their routines.

As we head into the weekend, I want to remind you that Tuesday of next week marks the conclusion of quarter 3. With this in mind, our final set of awards assemblies will be held later this month. To accommodate our families, we're offering both in-person and virtual options for each assembly. Please refer to the schedule below for details.

Additionally, I want to express my gratitude to our PTA for their generous donation of glasses for our students and staff to safely view the solar eclipse scheduled for Monday afternoon. In anticipation of this rare celestial event, each class will allocate 10-15 minutes between 2:00 - 3:00 pm to head outside and observe the eclipse. It's worth noting that the height of the eclipse will occur during our dismissal at 3:21 pm. Rest assured, we will maintain our normal dismissal procedures to ensure a smooth transition.

Have a great weekend! ~ Anthony J Esposito, Principal
