Swansfield Students to be Recognized at TCOE Celebration of Academic Achievement Thursday Evening, January 26, at 7:00 pm at Hammond High School
The Council of Elders of the Black Community of Howard County in collaboration with the Howard County Public School System sponsors an annual Celebration of Academic Achievement to acknowledge and honor students of African and African-American heritage.
Swansfield students will be honored who achieved one or more of the following levels of academic success last school year:
Received a grade of "A" or "B" for Math in every marking period
Received a grade of "A" or "B" for Language Arts in every marking period
Scored Advanced on the Maryland School Assessment (MSA) for Science (5th grade only)
