Emergency Drill Discussions

During Virtual Learning, students and staff will not be practicing emergency response procedures as they would in the traditional setting.  However, HCPSS staff will be doing short reviews of response procedures with students throughout the first semester as part of the Emergency Response Preparedness Plans practice.  Today, teachers reviewed the procedures for an evacuation and a modified lockdown. We encourage you to ask your child about the discussions and let us know if you or he/she have any questions or concerns. You can find detailed information about emergency procedures at www.hcpss.org/safety/.

Our goal each and every day is to provide a safe and healthy learning environment for all students and staff at Swansfield. We will continue to keep you updated on future response discussions as they occur.

#SwanFamily Staff Shout Outs

Our Swansfield staff has been devoting a lot of time and talent behind the scenes to provide the best virtual instruction and school year for our students.  We’ve been sending staff shout outs to each other to recognize team members’ efforts and remember how we support each other. We thought it would be uplifting for staff to hear from community members outside our school.  Do you have a staff member you would like to recognize?  If so, please complete a #SwanFamily Shout Out.
