Counselors Requesting Career Videos To Share With Students

In lieu of our annual Career Day where we host school visitors, our school counselors are asking for your help putting together optional career videos for students to view the last weeks of school.

If you are interested in sharing information about your career with our students, please record a quick 2–3-minute video explaining what you do, what type of schooling or training you need, what skills or talents you need, and why you love your career so much.  Please remember that students respond well to engaging, fun, and exciting videos. Please email your video to Mrs. Richter or Mrs. Rainier by next Monday, May 24th.  Thank you in advance for your help.

Parents/Guardians Please Provide Input for Next School Year

Hard to believe we are beginning planning for next school year!  Parents/Guardians, please feel free to complete this Consideration Card before June 1 to share information about your child that will help us plan for their schooling in the 2021-22 school year.

TItle I Surveys

We would appreciate it if all families would complete two surveys regarding our Title I funding and programming to help us plan for next year. Both surveys are linked below and must be completed by Friday, May 21st. Thank you in advance for taking the time to do this.

Kindness is such an important concept. It is also a way of life. But how can one show kindness with the world and those around them? This is the perfect read aloud for introducing or reviewing what it means to be kind, ways to spread kindness, and how even the smallest acts of kindness can make a difference.

Visitor Protocol Across School System

Visitors are not permitted under HCPSS Infectious Disease Plan. Exceptions are made for emergency services, contractors, and special situations. Facility special visitors will be limited and should occur by scheduled appointment only. No walk-in visitors are permitted. As much as possible, appointments to meet with parents and customers should be accommodated via telephone, video conference, or other suitable technology. When a face-to-face visit is necessary, the school or office must schedule an appointment time with the visitor and follow set steps outlined on page 23 of the Bridge to Normalized Instruction.

When guidelines once again allow for in-person volunteers and/or visitors, the attached form must be completed to document visitors interacting with our learning environment.
