Swansfield Elementary School
Swansfield News 9.3.21
.Dear Swansfield Families,
It has been a true joy to see all of our students in person to start the school year. For many of our students this is the first time in our school building in over a year for their first time ever in a school building and they are absolutely amazing. This week has been a reminder of why we absolutely love our Swans!
We want to give a big shout out to the many parent volunteers who have supported outdoor seating during lunch. We appreciate you standing outside in the hot sun, helping our students navigate outdoor seating and supporting our staff with monitoring student needs.
Back to School Night Rescheduled
Due to the early closing on September 8th, we have rescheduled our Back to School Night for Monday, September 13th. Unfortunately, we may have a few teachers who will not be able to attend due to previously scheduled commitments. If your child’s teacher is unable to attend, you will receive an email letting you know which teammate’s classroom to attend (for in-person presentations). If you are planning to attend virtually, it is the same presentation for all classrooms in each grade.

Parents are not permitted to eat lunch in the school cafeteria with students at this time. Parents who are conducting classroom visits or observations must provide proof of vaccination status or a negative COVID-19 test (within seven days of the current date) to school administration when they check in at the front office.
Visitors should perform a COVID-19 health check every day before coming to an HCPSS building and should stay home if they are experiencing any symptom(s) associated with any communicable disease.
