Swansfield News 11/3/23

Fri, 11/10/2023 - 1:23pm

Good Afternoon SES Families,

We had an exciting week at SES! On Wednesday, we celebrated “Trish Boe” day. Throughout the day, grade level teams surprised Trish and showered her with love and gifts. We can’t thank Trish enough for her 15 years of service to the Swansfield community. The Patapsco Middle School community is lucky to have her.

Today, we are excited to have the Ravens marching band, cheerleaders, and mascot join us for a “Purple Friday Pep Rally!” Please check out our school Twitter handle, @hcpss_ses to check out photos of the event.

Please remember that report cards will be posted and visible to parents next Wednesday, November 8th @ 4:00pm. We will send a reminder and steps to find your child’s report card next week.

Hope everyone has a relaxing weekend! ~ Anthony J Esposito, Principal

PTA News

SES PTA has partnered with Cozy Café Bakery again this year for another delicious pie fundraiser! We are selling 13-inch Apple, Blueberry, Cherry, and Pumpkin pies, all are $18 each! You may remember from last year that these pies are delicious (and huge!) A portion of sales benefit SES programming and initiatives.

Flyers will be coming home in folders today with ordering information for families, and you can place online orders here, now through Friday, November 10 at 5:00 p.m.

The pies will be ready for pick-up on November 20 and 21 in the SES lobby from 12-1 p.m. and 4-6 p.m. In addition to bringing pies home, you also have the option to buy pies and donate them to community members in need, through our friends at Columbia Community Cares (just purchase a donation pie online and we’ll take care of the rest!)

Visit our website for the meeting agenda. Child care is provided for all meetings, which are held in the SES cafeteria - mark your calendar to join us!
