Good Afternoon Swansfield,
On behalf of the entire SES staff, I would like to spend this week acknowledging members of our community that continue to reach out and support our SES families. A special thank you to Kris Bloom and the entire Scots Glenn Community for the yearly donations they supply to our community. In addition to donating school supplies each school year, they also donate gift cards for the SES staff to use to support families in need. We can’t thank them enough for their contributions and we cherish their partnership.
In addition to Scots Glenn, we would like to recognize a former swan that’s made the decision to give back to the school he loves! Former SES student and current Clarksville MS 7th grader, Bryan Gelinas, has chosen to give back to SES for his Bar Mitzvah project. Bryan raised $2,500 by swimming laps. He donated this money to our Blessings in a Backpack program. Thank you to Bryan and his family for the generous donation. This will impact many students at SES. “Once a Swan, Always a Swan!”
Wishing you a wonderful weekend! ~ Anthony J Esposito, Principal

Bus Safety Pass Incentive Program
We are excited to share that our Student Bus Safeties will begin handing out Bus Passes to students who demonstrate safe and responsible behavior while riding the bus. This includes actions such as staying seated, using respectful language, following the driver’s directions, and helping to maintain a calm and positive environment.
Students who receive a Bus Pass may turn it in to their homeroom teacher to earn a Swan for their Swan Chart.
We appreciate your support in reinforcing these expectations at home and helping us create a safe and respectful experience for all students on the bus.
Roving Radish & HCLS Mobile Library Visits
We are excited to share that the Roving Radish and the HCLS Mobile Library will be in the SES parking lot on the following dates: 12/22, 1/26, 2/23, 3/23, and 4/27 from 5:00–6:00 p.m.
We hope you’ll stop by and take advantage of these wonderful community resources!

Donations for Health Room
Accidents happen! We are looking for donations of new or gently used clothing for students in the event of “clothing emergencies” (lunch spills, nosebleeds, torn clothes, accidents, etc.). We need 1) elastic waist (athletic style) pants, especially boy’s sizes 6-8 and 2) underwear, especially boys (all sizes up to 10/12). Donations can be dropped in the front office marked “clothing donations”.
