Please note that the school calendar for the remainder of this year has changed to make up for the four inclement weather days used so far. Parents of students receiving the Principal's Award, Character Trait Award and Soaring Swan Award have been notified in advance. We will celebrate students in grades 1-3 at a 9:00 am assembly, Kindergarten students will be recognized at 11:00 am, and grades 4-5 at 2:00 pm.
At the afternoon assembly, we will also be recognizing 4th and 5th-grade students who were to be honored by The Council of Elders for academic achievement last school year. Families are welcome to join us for these celebrations.

We encourage fathers, stepfathers, uncles, grandfathers, and other special men in our students' lives to get involved at school by participating in our Mighty Men Program. Students and families can better understand today's math concepts being taught in classrooms by watching this video series. HCPSS educators conduct mini-lessons covering different lessons.

ReadyRosie is an early education tool developed to support families with children from birth through 3rd grade. Parents can sign up online and choose to receive short, informative videos that can help them encourage their children to learn. Once logged in, you can access information according to the child's age and the location where you will be doing an activity, such as the grocery store, restaurant, etc. This resource was launched a few months ago. Check it out!
