Swansfield News 4.24.26

Good Afternoon Swansfield,

I hope this communication finds you well. We’ve had a busy week at SES. Last Friday, the PTA hosted their annual Family Culture Night. It’s become one of my favorite nights of the school year as our diversity is celebrated and honored.

This week we had “Take Your Child to Work Day.” Over 30 children of current SES staff members joined us for the day to see what their parents do on a daily basis. Last night, our 5th grade team hosted their family night. We had representatives from our three feeder middle schools and students from each. It was a wonderful night of learning. Thank you to the AKA sorority for purchasing dinner for our 5th grade families. Your donation is appreciated!

Good luck to our four teams taking part in the Battle of the Books event tonight at Merriweather. Please join us tomorrow morning at SES for our annual PTA sponsored Fun Run. There is still time to sign up. Race day registration begins at 7:45am. The run kicks off at 9:00am Hope to see you there!

Wishing you a wonderful weekend! ~ Anthony J Esposito, Principal
