Next week (November 14th-18th) is going to be Kindness Matters Week at Swansfield Elementary School. Please join me as we remind our students and staff of the importance of being kind and caring at school, at home, and in our communities.
Monday - Please wear something blue to show we are a united community.
Tuesday - Please wear something pink or red because WE LOVE KINDNESS at Swansfield.
Wednesday - Please wear your team gear (jerseys, sports shirts, etc.) to show we are a part of TEAM KINDNESS!
Thursday - Please wear mixed-match socks or clothing to show that we are accepting of everyone!
Friday - We dream of kindness! Please wear your PJ's.
A kindness link will go home in every Monday folder on 11/14. Students who write or draw something about kindness and hand in their link no later than 11/18, will be entered into a raffle for a prize to be announced on Friday. Our goal will be to link all of our kindness links together to wrap the entire school in kindness!
We will also ask each student to bring in a can of food to donate to our food bank to help some of our families this winter. We will put a box in each grade level area to collect the cans of food.
Thank you for your support and for helping to bring a week that shows how important it is to be kind members of our community. Looking forward to a great week.
